LTIC is charting its strategy for learning technology. Lend your voice to the conversation! Is learning technology meeting your needs? Tell us why or why not in this very short survey.
As educators we all work with learning technology (LT) – whether we’re all-in adopters or dabblers – technology is (increasingly) fundamental to the fabric of our work. It used to be acceptable for LT to be stable and available. Now the tools available to faculty, and faculty’s ability to wield those tools, can actually differentiate us in the landscape of educational institutions. Excellent learning technology can lift us up, and set us apart.
But LT’s criticality means that the faculty experience of using it is critical – Bad tooling adds friction to our work, and has a chilling effect on educator creativity and effectiveness, and ultimately harms student experience and engagement.
At LTIC we are committed to doggedly and relentlessly improving our learning technology environment. To do this, we need to know the full range of faculty experience, and candid unfiltered accounts of how learning technology is or isn’t working for you. Without hearing from you, we can’t know where to improve, or what targets to set.
We have put together this super short survey to ensure that educators are driving our strategy. The survey asks about how closely you relate to an ideal learning technology scenario. It also gives you the chance to speak freely, and if you like, anonymously, about ways we need to improve.
The survey is one of a series of steps we’re taking to set our strategy for LT. We will report out about the responses we receive, and will be holding consultations to co-create the actions we’ll take to meaningfully move the needle wherever change is needed.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
