Faculty projects we made happen!
LT Incubator Projects
The Learning Technology (LT) Incubator supports funded UBC learning technology projects by housing their software development within the LT Hub. The instructor(s) for each project work closely with the LT Incubator development team, and guide the strategy of the project by acting as product owners.
The following Stories highlight some of the LT Incubator projects we’ve helped make happen for faculty:
-
LT Incubator Project – CREATE: Generating Interactive Learning
The LT Incubator has been busy! Take a peak into the development of CREATE – a GenAI tool for generating interactive elements for Canvas (created by researchers at UBC in partnership with LTIC).
-
LT Incubator Project – BiocBot: a GenAI Study-Buddy Tool
Something is growing and evolving rapidly in the LT Incubator! Take a peek into the development of BiocBot – an augmentative GenAI study-buddy created by researchers at UBC in partnership with LTIC.
Learning Analytics Faculty Partnership Projects
The Learning Analytics Faculty Partnership Program is intended to catalyze evidence-based teaching and learning inquiry through learning analytics data.
The following Stories highlight some of the Learning Analytics Faculty Partnership projects we’ve helped make happen for faculty:

Learning Analytics Faculty Partnership Project – Student Learning and the Use of Lecture Recordings
Lecture recordings are a common resource in university courses today. But what do we actually know about how lecture recordings impact student learning? UBC’s Vancouver School of Economics’ Jonathan Graves is investigating just that, as part of the Learning Analytics Faculty Partnership Program.
