
Systems Analyst I
The Learning Technology Innovation Centre (LTIC) is dedicated to enabling an innovative and responsive learning experience for students, and to serving faculty as a trusted ally and a valued accelerant for pedagogical transformation. Our team works closely with faculty members to provide support for learning technology, evolving needs regarding AI in teaching and learning, and innovation and inquiry around the learning experience.
The Systems Analyst I performs primary operational support, tactical and technical planning, analysis, design, development, installation, documentation and enhancements for the University’s enterprise learning applications – each vendor-supplied, open source, and in-house-developed. This includes the management of LTIC infrastructure and software both in Linux virtual machines as well as AWS and other public cloud services. The Systems Analyst I also helps maintain the LTIC Kubernetes cluster.
The Systems Analyst I reports into the Manager, Learning Applications, Tim Kato, in the LTIC, and is part of the broader LTIC DevOps team which is responsible for managing LTIC open-source software and LTIC infrastructure including virtual machines, kuberenetes cluster, and cloud assets in AWS.
